ATLANTA — An original painting by President Jimmy Carter, guitars autographed by Bonnie Raitt and Jeff Beck, and memorabilia commemorating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and President Barack Obama are among more than 150 items to be auctioned on June 24 to benefit ²Ø¾«¸ó.
Proceeds will support the Center's work to advance peace and health in the U.S. and across the globe. Last year's auction raised $4.4 million for the Center’s global mission.
The auction will be part of Carter Center Weekend, a retreat for Center supporters June 21-25 at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. Live and silent auction catalogs, as well as instructions for bidding by fax or proxy, can be found here.
Bidders will have the chance to win an Atlanta Braves experience for four where they'll attend a 2023 regular-season Braves home game and receive a valet parking pass, unlimited food and beverages, a $1,000 gift card, a stay at the Loews Atlanta Hotel, and a framed photograph of then-Governor Jimmy Carter and Braves legend Hank Aaron.
Auction-goers can also bid on guitars autographed by Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley, the Zac Brown Band, the Moody Blues, and the late Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jeff Beck.
